1. The solid wood furniture can be divided into two types:

1). Sterling solid wood furniture: all of the material is wood, including the desktop, the wardrobe door, sides, etc. not to use any kind of man-made boards. 2). The imitative solid wood furniture: the so-called imitative solid wood furniture, is just the same to the solid wood furniture on the visual and natural grain of the wood. In fact, it is a kind of furniture which is jointed by the solid wood and man-made wood, that is to say, sides, top, bottom, rack, etc. are made of the shaving board or MDF, and the door and the drawer are solid wood. This kind of craftwork not only saved the wood, but also reduced the cost.

2. The panel furniture is a kind of furniture whose parent metal is the man-made wood (MDF, the shaving board, the block board), and the decorative face is the log-paper or thin veneer, melamine faced board, etc. The advantages are the furniture will not be easily out of shape after the metal forming and the performance stabilizing, and it is very convenient to process and transport.

The styles of the surface as below:

A.      veneer logs paper: from shallow to deep, the color of the common veneer is cherry, maple, elm white, red elm, ash, white rubber, red rubber, teak, Huanghua pear and saffron pears, walnut, white kageki, red kageki, red sandalwood, ebony wood, etc. In the processing, cut the solid wood into 2 mm veneer and after the special adhesive, put the veneer on the face of the furniture, then paint and bake the face. It has the below features: feel smooth, thick feel with your fingers’ knocking, the clear but anomalistic grain, and about 1 mm veneer in the corner of the board. This kind of furniture in the veneer furniture has the high grade, and the price is very high.

B.      Log composite veneer: stacking up the veneer of the different color, and after the high-pressure it will form a flitch. Then cut the section into pieces, the new colorful and different kinds of veneer will be formed.

C.      Log paper: this kind of furniture is relatively cheap; the general price the wood veneer is 2/3 to 1/2 of the wood veneer. But in the using there will be scuffing and rolling up of the veneering, etc.

D.     Plastic –paste veneering: it belongs to the petrochemical. The grain and decorative design on the surface is printed by the special printing press, and glued on the back, and then it is formed from the pressing stickers of the precision instruments.

E.      Fire board: the veneering of the fire board is wear-resistant and adiabatic; also there are grains, plain, graining or other curlicue. Mostly, this kind of board is used for flat panel furniture, kitchen furniture, etc.
